Car Seat Checks:
Burnsville Police Department offers monthly car seat checks by appointment only.

Burnsville City Academy (previously Citizens Academy):
This nine-week, in-depth program gives residents an inside look into Police operations and also includes an overview of fire/EMS training and City services. Participants are given the opportunity to tour facilities, experience hands-on activities such as dusting for prints, learn about common police calls, ask questions from experts, learn about department functions, see traffic stops, watch demonstrations and get involved in various scenarios. There is no cost to attend but space is limited. The academy takes place in the fall.

Graffiti Removal:
Report graffiti and other parks or streets concerns so our teams can address the issue.

Neighborhood Watch:
The City of Burnsville believes that Neighborhood Watch groups effectively reduce local crime and build strong neighborhoods.

Night to Unite:
Night to Unite is held on the first Tuesday in August. The event is a chance to strengthen neighborhood spirit and City-community partnerships.
