Additional Information:
The seasonal Fleet maintenance worker, under the supervision of the Fleet Department Superintendent and Crew Leader, will perform skilled work in the maintenance and repair of city vehicles and maintenance facility. The employee in this position shall clean and organize the vehicle, the maintenance repair bays, seal floors, change tires, help mechanics as needed, parts running, shovel and blow snow around the maintenance facility and performs similar laborious tasks. This is a temporary position. Hours are Monday-Friday 7:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.

The City of Burnsville is recruiting for a Code Enforcement Inspector. This position is responsible for the administration, investigation, and enforcement of the City of Burnsville code enforcement program to ensure that all public and private property are maintained in compliance with applicable city codes including, but not limited to building, property maintenance, zoning, rental licensing and other related laws. Duties include the inspection and ordinance enforcement for various types of licensed businesses including, but not limited to rental properties and massage facilities.  This position involves significant contact with the public, answering questions, responding to complaints, routine inspections, writing reports and letters, and managing multiple code cases until resolution.
