The Program

The Burnsville softball program features more than 300 teams, made up of more than 5,600 participants that play more than 4,500 games and more than 100,000 individual recreation experiences throughout the year.

Spring/Summer Season (April - July)

The spring/summer season features 25 USSSA sanctioned leagues with more than 180 teams playing games Sunday through Friday nights. Men's leagues are offered Sunday through Thursday, Mixed leagues are played Friday and Sunday and Women's leagues play Wednesday nights. The season begins toward the end of April and ends the end of July (weather permitting).

Fall Season (August - October)

The fall season features 18 USSSA sanctioned leagues with more than 125 teams playing games Sunday through Friday nights. Men's leagues are offered Sunday through Thursday, Mixed leagues are played Friday and Sunday and Women's leagues play Wednesday nights. The season begins toward the middle of August and ends the middle of October (weather permitting).

Facility Highlights

The City of Burnsville uses up to 10 lighted fields per night to meet the needs of our adult softball program. The Parks staff takes great pride in ensuring that these fields continue to be some of the best athletic options in the state.

Opportunities for private and corporate participation exist at many levels for tangible marketplace exposure and greater community involvement. With more than 100,000 players, fans and umpires visiting the fields on an annual basis, Burnsville Softball offers a great opportunity for your organization to have exposure through facility signage, fliers, website traffic and more.Corporate sponsorships are available that are individually tailored to meet the needs of a particular company to provide maximum exposure.

Facility Fence Signs

Signs can be located on up to 10 fields at three different locations in right or left field from April 1 thru Oct. 31.

 Note: Signs shall be provided by the sponsoring organization, made of vinyl or other similar material with wind holes and will face the interior of the ballfield and must follow the City sign ordinance including being centered on the fence section and hanging 1 foot from the top and bottom of the fence structure.

Tournament Sponsor

Opportunity to have a table and/or trailer in the park during tournament hours for vending of softball related merchandise.
